Why may you or your organisation need a well-being specialist?
In my 12 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, working with a diverse clientele, particularly expatriates living in challenging environments, I have come to appreciate the immense value of evidence-based strategies, assessments, and interventions. These well-researched and scientifically validated approaches have consistently proven their effectiveness and relevance in enhancing mental health and well-being.
First and foremost, evidence-based strategies provide a solid foundation for decision-making and clinical practice. They are rooted in rigorous research, drawing from a wide range of studies and experiments. By relying on evidence, I can ensure that my interventions are based on the best available knowledge, increasing the likelihood of positive outcomes for my clients. This empowers me to offer reliable and credible recommendations, tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.
Moreover, evidence-based assessments allow me to accurately identify and understand psychosocial risks. The comprehensive tools and methods at my disposal enable me to assess my clients’ psychological and social functioning, pinpointing potential stressors and vulnerabilities. This diagnostic precision enables me to develop targeted interventions, addressing specific challenges and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.
Furthermore, the evidence-based nature of my work builds trust with clients and instills confidence in their treatment. By relying on scientifically proven techniques, clients can feel assured that their therapy is not driven by intuition or guesswork. This validation fosters a strong therapeutic alliance, promoting better engagement and adherence to treatment plans.
As someone who has also conducted psycho-social risk assessments for the UN, I can attest to the importance of evidence-based approaches on a larger scale. When dealing with complex humanitarian crises or challenging global situations, relying on sound evidence becomes paramount. Implementing evidence-based interventions on a broader level ensures efficient use of resources and maximizes the impact on vulnerable populations.
Hello, I'm Sonja
My own life has been diverse as I have worked & lived in a wide mix of cultures and situations, being able to understand the complexity of various challenges brought to all of us by our modern world.
Due to this, I have developed a comprehensive and holistic approach to my therapy, and customize assessment and psychological sessions to the needs and desires you and your organisation have, leading a busy life and looking for real solutions to your challenges.
Together, we effectively manage and come up with a plan to tackle and manage your personal and professional challenges, especially when you feel alone, vulnerable and disconnected from others: physically and emotionally. For organisations, optimising and proioritizing wellbeing is essential to workforce health as well as output. Delivering leadership programmes and support to resolve problems where a number of complex alternatives needs to be addressed at the same time within an organisation can be a challenge- this is why you need a specialist with experience that will help you navigate the best way forward.
I strive to give my clients freedom from challenging experiences and teach them techniques that will give more control over their wellbeing.
I look forward for your message and embarking on this wellness journey with you,

Sonja Jankovic
